Love: A man combs his wife’s hair in a hospital in an endearing viral video
‘You used to comb my hair, but I’ve never combed yours before, Nellie,’ the husband says in a Southern accent as she arranges his wife’s short locks around her head. ‘This is the first time for this, you know.’
The elderly woman is sitting up but has her eyes closed and looks unwell, but also appears to be comfortable letting her husband dote on her.
He is clearly eager to do a good job and make sure he doesn’t miss a spot. While he holds the comb with one hand, he uses his other hand to gently smooth Nellie’s hair in an intimate gesture.
At one point, the husband asks the person who is filming the video to confirm whether he is making Nellie’s hair look better — to which the person replies that he is.

The husband then launches into an anecdote about his own father as he continues to meticulously tend to his wife’s hair.
